Operation
Uses Sonar just like a bat. A 42kHz sound wave is transmitted and reflected off objects. The amount of time to receive the 'echo' is measured and a distance can be calculated.
Tutorial
- Connect Power and GND
- Connect Signal to a Volt Meter
- Place an object in front of the sensor and increase the distance
watch the Voltage reading
- The device also outputs RS232 refer back to the data sheet
